Michael R. Kukenberger is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior within the Peter T. Paul School of Business Management Department at the University of New Hampshire. Prior to coming to UNH, Dr. Kukenberger served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. Dr. Kukenberger received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maine, an M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire, and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, School of Business, and his research interests include shared and team leadership and team effectiveness.
Dr. Kukenberger’s work has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, Human Relations & Group & Organization Management. In addition, Dr. Kukenberger is the Senior Associate Editor at Group & Organization Management and on the Journal of Organizational Behavior editorial review board. Consulting in leadership and team dynamics, Dr. Kukenberger has worked with several Fortune 500s (e.g., GE Aviation, Xerox, Alcoa, etc.), the armed services (i.e., U.S. Army), and the Center for Disease Control.
